The Time to Read 2nd class group were invited to a day trip to Dublin Zoo by Teneo. Our readers headed to the zoo by bus where we met our reading buddies Aisling, Eimear and Catherine from Teneo. We were delighted to see a variety of animals including gibbons, penguins, a snow leopard and elephants. The children were kindly treated to sandwiches, juices and ice cream cones by our volunteers. A great day of fun was enjoyed by all and the children are already looking forward to their next reading session on Wednesday.
