Time To Count
Students from Ms Martin’s 3rd class were so lucky to be chosen this year to participate in the ‘Time to Count’ programme with the Business in Community initiative.
Volunteers from the company ESB kindly donate their time to playing a variety of numeracy based board games with the children. ‘Time’ bingo was particularly popular this morning! These games were generously donated to us by the ‘Time to Count’ programme and we are so grateful that our school is included in this wonderful project. The children and volunteers will play the games over the next 5 weeks on Tuesday mornings. In the coming weeks the volunteers will invite the children on a trip to the ESB offices, where we will learn about electricity. Thank you so much ESB and ‘Time to Count’.
Lastly, a big ‘thank you’ also to all the parents and grandparents who attended the launch this morning. The children were so proud to share their art and classwork with their parents and grandparents and have their family in the classroom. An enjoyable morning was had by all.
