Mask of Tutankhamun
3rd Class have been very busy all week learning about Ancient Egypt. They have made a fabulous recreation of the mask of Tutankhamun. This mask is a gold mask which dates back to the 18th dynasty. The mask is an image of Tutankhamun’s face. To make these masks they usually poured wax over the face and when it dried it formed the image of their face. Using this they then made the gold face mask to replicate the face of the King Tutankhamun.
