
We have been busy exploring our fruitful and ripe garden this week. Senior Infants and Second class harvested big stalks of rhubarb. Ms Fallon demonstrated how she would prepare the rhubarb for a pie.
She then slaved over a hot oven and brought a delicious rhubarb tart into school the following day for the children to taste. The children loved the sweet and tangy taste of it. It was brilliant for the children to observe the process of our organic rhubarb being used to create a delightful dish.
