Christmas Cookery Course at St.Tiernan’s Community School
In December 2022 the parents from the Queen of Angels Primary School were so delighted to be invited to our local secondary school St. Tiernan’s for some Christmas Cookery Classes.
Parents from other schools such as The Good Shepherd Primary School, Scoil Mhuire Rathfarnham and Ballinteer Community School were also in attendance for these very special classes.
A professional chef was present for both classes and parents had a chance to learn how to create the perfect Christmas dinner for all the family.
Our wonderful chef Mark gave parents tips on how to plan forward for meals and also how to save time and money when preparing food for their family.
Each participant had the chance to attend both demonstration and practical classes where they learned valuable cookery tips about food preparation and creation.
They enjoyed making a delicious Christmas turkey and ham dinner and an amazing tiramisu dessert for afters.
These classes were so enjoyable and we are so grateful to Ms. Mary Kerwin (HSCL) and Mr. Peter Lennon (SCP coordinator) from St. Tiernan’s secondary school for organising these wonderful classes for our parents.
