All the pupils and staff had a fabulous time during Maths Week! It was a very busy week with everyone getting involved in lots of different activities. We enjoyed maths stations, maths trails, maths quizzes, daily target boards and brainteasers and we especially loved using our Maths Eyes both at home and at school. We were thrilled to welcome parents of Senior Infants into our classroom to help with our
Maths Power Hour and also to welcome Transition Year students from St. Tiernan’s in to our 6th Classes to teach them the mathematical game Sudoku. The Senior pupils made some amazing posters all about Maths and also created their own boardgames showcasing their wonderful creativity and mathematical talents!!
