The pupils in Queen of Angels celebrated Lá ‘Le Bríde this Friday, on the eve of St Brigid. They listened keenly to the story of St Brigid and how she willingly dedicated her life to caring for the poor, the sick and the elderly. They enjoyed hearing about the power of her cloak and how it miraculously grew to cover the ground she needed to build her convent. Later, during Art class, many classes made their own cloaks of St Brigid using cut-out mosaic “paper” tiles. We also hung St Brigid crosses on our lit up tree outside Suzanne's office.Other classes made crosses out of matchsticks. Beannachtaí na Féile Bríde!
