The boys and girls from the two sixth classes graduated from Queen of Angels on Tuesday, June 25th , in what was an emotional but joyful celebration. Fr Jim spoke to them about embracing their future! The children sang the popular song "Best Day of Our Life" by American Authors and finished with "I'll Always Remember You" by Hannah Montana, which was very fitting as they embark on their new adventure. The children received their ‘Most likely’ awards, read out to them by their two teachers, Ms Maher and Ms Dunne. They also received a lovely goodie bag full of keepsakes. A big míle buíochas to Ms Downes who organised and served up a lovely coffee morning. A big thank you also to Susan, who helped serve the teas and coffees. The hall was looking spectacular thanks to the efforts and artistic talent of our Parents association led by Eva, her family and Sandra Daly.
It was wonderful to see a great turn out of our parents and guardians. They are an amazing group of boys and girls and wonderful ambassadors for our school. We will miss them, but we’re excited to hear what wonderful things they get up to and what their bright and exciting future holds for them.
We want to say a very special thanks to our Parents Association: Karen, Bernie, Paul and their family of helpers who organised an amazing fun day for the 6th class. The students had a great party and were presented with a goodie bag, "class of 24" wrist band, keyring, cupcake and a special Queen of Angels card. They also enjoyed a morning of having their photos taken in the photobooth! The day ended with a pizza party!
