Ms Duignan's junior infants class learned all about the very happy elephant, Elmer recently! They discovered that he is not like the rest of the elephants in the jungle, in fact, he's a multi-coloured patchwork elephant! In the story, the children learn that Elmer's friends laugh at him, not because he's different but because he's the most happy-go-lucky and ever-so-appealing, loveable elephant in the world!
