A Trip to the Festival of Food Educational Day in Airfield
Recently the students from 6th class had a wonderful day out at the Festival of Food in Airfield. They hunted for bugs in the woodland; they learned all about jersey cows, chickens and Airfield’s very own donkeys. Some of the groups got to meet the beekeeper who told them all about the importance of our bees while other groups were busy experimenting with different food tests. The pupils really enjoyed taking a tour of the farm’s amazing food garden. They even got to see a vineyard! We really appreciated receiving the wonderful invite and would like to thank all the hard-working, dedicated staff in Airfield. A truly educational, informative day was had by all.
