From Grass to Glass
We were so lucky to be invited by the Dairy Council to celebrate how nutritious milk is. The children got to see how milk is made from grass to glass!
We had a tour of the farm and watched the cows being milked. We then tasted the milk and watched the wonderful Aisling Larkin make butter, bread and yoghurt!
The children got to garnish the butter and mix the yoghurt with their chosen fruits. It was a magical day. The sun shone and the children were so engaged in the cooking display!
