Our school was chosen to host visiting teachers from Uganda. The group of 25 teachers came to visit some of the classes and chat to the students. We compared the similarities and differences between teaching in Ireland and Uganda. The children asked some insightful questions. We found that teachers in Uganda have 100 plus children in their classes. The children in their schools often board. They have chalk boards and very few of the wide range of wonderful teaching resources we have in Queen of Angels.
