The 5th and 6th class pupils (and one or two from 4th class) had a fantastic day out in Santry today! Ms Mc Adam has been doing lots of training with the students over the past few weeks. Some children took part in field events such as the shot put and the high jump while others gave a super performance in the sprints and relays.
Michelle took home the gold in the shot put, while Leo came home with the silver in the same event.
Even though we didn't come home with medals for the track events, the runners gave it their all!
Mr Mac, Ms Butler and Ms McAdam accompanied them to Santry and they could not have been more proud of them!
Well done to Ms Mc Adam and all our competitors! You are amazing!
