Our school kitchen was a hive of activity with wonderful aromas on Monday morning as our first cookery class for parents began. Britt our tutor welcomed everyone and explained what was on the menu and how the class would run- a mix of demonstration and participation. This week our parents made a variety of ‘TexMex’ food – enchiladas, cinnamon chips and Spanish rice. We all enjoyed tea, coffee and chat throughout the morning. Every parent went home with a selection of the dishes. Thank you to Britt for facilitating the class and we are looking forward to welcoming her again next Monday. Next Monday’s menu is: lemon garlic pasta, chickpea salad and almond crackle cookies. All parents and family members are welcome to come and try a class and to take part!
