Ms Mc Adam's 2nd class visited Ms McTeague's 4th class to tell them all about their Time Capsule which they were about to bury in the school grounds.
They explained about the significance of a capsule and what future generations can learn from its contents. Ms Mc Adam compared it to finding fossils. Fossils educate people about living things from long ago.
The 4th class children enjoyed predicting what they had put in the capsule before Ms McAdam revealed all! In the capsule the children had placed lots of items that are significant to their lives presently. For example, a twistable, a piece of lego, a Match Attack soccer card, an empty bottle of Prime drink, a book, a newspaper, a Luas card and so many other items.
Well done to the 2nd class for teaching some cool and interesting facts to the 4th class children!
A big thank you to David, our very kind gardener, who dug a hole for the class to bury the time capsule.
