Susan, our SNA, has been working lately with lots of keen gardeners in 6th class. Please read below what they have been up to!
QUEEN OF ANGELS SCHOOL GARDEN

Gardening Season has come to Queen of Angels Primary School. The children in 6th Class are busy preparing and planting fruit and vegetables in their “Raised Beds”. So far, they have planted Onions, Garlic, Peas, Lettuce, Mangetout, Strawberries and Raspberries.
The Children are also working in their “Biodiversity Flower Garden” by weeding and hoeing and adding new seeds and flowers to attract more wildlife into it.
They have helped with planting summer bedding plants in the hanging baskets and pots throughout the school grounds.
As they are aware of protecting the environment, they are using recycled rainwater collected in Water Butts around the school, to water all the gardens.
