Queen of Angels competed in both Field and Track events in Morton Stadium this year. The sun shone on both days as did our fantastic budding athletes! The team had a triumphant year. Mercy Temilola Olasehinde won gold in the under 14’s High Jump event. Charlie Murphy took home bronze in the under 14’s high jump and Hannah Busari also won gold in the under 11’s High Jump. Katelyn Maguire came home with bronze in the under 14’s Sprints and Goodness Temilola Olasehinde got bronze in the under 11’s Hurdles event.
All athletes showed great team spirit and sportsmanship on both days in the stadium. Many thanks to Ms McAdam, Garry, Cumann na mBunscol and their volunteers for organising this annual Sporting event that is always thoroughly enjoyed by all.
