Our Trip to Dublin Zoo
We had a wonderful visit to the outstanding Dublin Zoo. The first stop was at the amazing African Plains where they were able to get very close to the elegant giraffes and cool zebras. The rhinos and oryxes were also sharing the same enclosure; all living in harmony! The children loved seeing the gorillas lazing about in the higher tree branches while the chimpanzees provided lots of entertainment on their own private island! The children loved seeing the many adult and baby elephants bathing at their watering hole. They learned lots of interesting facts in the Zoorassic Park while the new Orangutan Forest was spectacular. Seeing the seals swimming under water was magical while the face to face encounter with the Amur Tiger was thrilling! A fantastic, educational day was had by all!
