Last week we had our 2nd annual Christmas dinner in the Nurture Room. Last year we all sat together to have the dinner. This year, due to Covid 19, we had to divide over 30 children into 4 group sittings. Wendy and Áine served the children delicious turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and vegetables with a drink of their choice. The children listened to Christmas tunes, pulled Christmas crackers and enjoyed lots of sweet treats for afters. Ms Donegan very kindly made a Christmas biscuit cake for the pupils. Before the children went back to class, Mr Mac gave a gift of a selection box and a school resource pack, organised by Ms McTeague (HSCL teacher). It was a very happy and fun day in the Nurture Room. Hopefully next year we will be able to all sit together for our Christmas Dinner.
