Well done to Mr Connaire's 2nd class for putting on a lovely assembly for their parents. A big thanks to Wendy for being a constant support in the class for the boys and girls. They showcased lots of the work which took place in their class throughout the first term covering lots of topics. They sang songs( as Gaeilge) and recited a very funny poem called "Homework" with the popular lines:
"Homework, Oh Homework, I hate you , You stink!"
They showed amazing pictures of the moon which they did in art class. Their rockets were very impressive also! The parents were invited to the junior block for a lovely breakfast organised by Ms Hannigan and Susan. The parents also got to visit their child's classroom to see him/her at work!
We loved having our assemblies back on again after a long absence due to Covid.
