This week for PE 3rd class have been playing a giant game of Xs and Os! This has so many links to maths week, such as spatial awareness, distance between the hoops and the mats, colors of the bean bags, measuring the distance and force of the throw, maths language such as horizontal, vertical and diagonally, as well as number (3 in a row, 4 bean bags left..). It was very competitive but done in great spirits. Maths was used in numerous discrete ways. We had great fun.
