We are beyond lucky in Queen of Angels to have an amazing outdoor classroom. It has always been well used by teachers and pupils but the true value of it has become even more apparent since returning to school from lockdown. Being able to take lessons outdoors to a safe and beautiful space in the spring sunshine has lifted everyones spirits. The Junior Infants are regular visitors, bringing their fruit and milk outdoors for storytime. They always end their visit to the outdoor classroom with a run around the apple and pear trees. This idyllic spot has become a firm favourite for everyone in Queen of Angels!
