Breakfast Club, 2020
Dear Parents/Guardians,
A very big welcome back to all our families for a new school year! We are so thrilled to have you all back safely!
Breakfast Club will continue this year starting on Monday 7th September. However it will run on a reduced capacity in order to comply with NPHET and Department of Education regulations and to allow for social distancing.
If you wish your child to attend Breakfast Club please note the following:
- Breakfast Club bookings must be made in advance of each week ie on the Friday before(starting this Friday, 4th September)
- Only bookings received on the Friday during school hours will be accepted.
- Bookings must be made through Ms Josie McTeague by messaging your child’s name ,class and teacher with reference to BF Club to 0873471675
- You will receive a text confirming whether or not your child has a place.
- We can only accept children who are booked in for the full week.
- We cannot accommodate “drop ins” for the foreseeable future – children who are not booked in will beturned away.
- There are a limited number of places available so please book in time.
- We will provide toast, yoghurt rice cakes, waffles, pancakes and fruit.
- For drinks, we would appreciate if you could provide your child with a reusable water bottle which they can refill from a large water container in the school. ( As a Green School we are trying to do our part in reducing the use of plastics)
- Breakfast Club opens at 8.20am and closes at 8.40am.The cost is 50c each morning (or €2.50 per week).
- Children from the junior classes will be accompanied to the junior yard once the club is over by an SNA.
We thank you for your understanding in all the above. The strict measures are in place in order to ensure that we are fully compliant with Public Health Advice and Department of Education directives.
