On Feb 28th Ms Butler & Ms Byrne’s 1st class went on a trip to the Natural History Museum otherwise known as The Dead Zoo. The children loved the museum. It was built in 1857 and has changed very little since then. They enjoyed seeing all the animals from all over the world. The Irish room on the ground floor is dedicated to animals native to Ireland while the first floor has a collection of Mammals of the World. After exploring the whole museum the children all chose their favourite animal and had their picture taken with it.
