1st Class Work (2nd - 12th June) Ms Malone

31-May-20

Hello First Class,

I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weather over the bank holiday weekend. I wanted to say a big well done to all of you. I know from talking to your parents that you are all working so hard. I am so proud of you. You are all amazing! I am also so delighted to see the work that you have been sending me by email.

I have some more work for you to try for the next fortnight (2nd – 12th June). Remember if you finish something from the list you can ask your parents to email it to me (msmaloneqoa@gmail.com). I love looking at everything you send me, and I will be able to write a message back. The list is only a guide to help you and please do not worry if you cannot finish everything. As we are now in the month of June we are normally looking forward to nice activities in school like sports days and school tours. As we cannot do these this year, I hope that you can try to make some time for fun and creative ideas this month along with your book work. There are plenty of fun ideas on the Padlet for you to try. Why not send a picture of what you try from the Padlet.

Here is the link to the list of work:

For boys and girls that still have their Power Hour PM readers or school library books at home, we have organised a collection time for these books to be returned to school. If you have one at home, please put it in a plastic bag with your name and class clearly marked on it. For first class we require the return of Power Hour PM Readers and school library books only. Please do not return any workbooks. Please note if you have an older sibling in another class, please return your reader and library book at the time slot of your oldest sibling.

Here is the timetable for the return of books:

Tuesday 9th June

10 – 11 am (Junior Infants – 2nd Class – return of Power Hour PM Readers and School Library books only)

11 – 12 (3rd Class – return of shared books)

Wednesday 10th June

10 -11 am (4th Class - return of shared books)

11 -12 (5th Class – return of shared books)

Thursday 11th June

10-11 am (6th Class – return of shared books)

I know that the teachers are missing all the wonderful boys and girls in QOA and we made a special video to tell you how much we are missing you. You can have a look at it on the school website. We can’t wait to see you all again in September!

Keep up the great work First class and remember to stay in touch.

Take Care,

Ms Malone smile
