For the two weeks May18th-29th

Hi to all the fantastic boys and girls in 1st Class,

Ms. Byrne and I have been delighted to hear from some of you over the past two weeks. We loved seeing pictures of the work you have done in your books, stories you have written, and extra worksheets you have printed from the padlet. You are all amazing! Our email address is msbutlerandmsbyrne@gmail.com Feel free to send us pictures and videos of what you have been up to since school closed. We would love to see pictures of the schoolwork, artwork, baking, creations of any kind you have made. We would love to hear stories of what you have been up to also. We will reply to each of you also. Just be sure that an adult at home helps you send the email and signs it also.

We are sending you some work to keep you all busy over the next two weeks. Please feel free to complete as much of this work as you can but do not worry if you cannot get it all finished. As well as the work that we have set here below we have a padlet of extra activities that you can try out with reading, maths, art, baking and lots of other cool ideas for you to try out. You can click on the link below will bring you to that padlet.

Try to do something nice/fun (playdoh, jigsaws, colouring, lego, pretend play, baking,) everyday and get some fresh air. (Play a game of football, hoola hoops, cycle, skip, run) The weather has been amazing so I’m sure you are all enjoying breaks in your gardens or greens.

If you would like to see yourself on television why not upload a video of what you have been up to with your parents help to rte/learn and you could be on the Rte school hub for children between 12-12:20pm.

We hope you are all staying safe. We know that you are missing your friends and the routine of going to school every day. We are really missing you all too and we are looking forward to getting back to school in September. You will all be so tall by then and ready to move to 2nd class. Ms. Byrne and I are very proud of you and delighted that you are working really hard for the grown-ups at home. We are really looking forward to hearing from you this week and maybe seeing pictures of you work also.
