We visited Santa in St Tiernan's

On Wednesday, December 18th all the children from junior infants up to 2nd class got a chance to visit Santa in St Tiernan’s Community School. Peter Lennon and the wonderful staff and students of St Tiernan’s treated them to a very special morning of magic and fun. Everyone cheered when Santa appeared, waving and smiling to all the school children, from the balcony in the new sports hall! Santa then joined the children and gave everyone a big "Hi 5".His magic elves and wonderful helpers danced and sang the Christmas songs with the happy audience. Our DJ and technical wizard, Tim provided an amazing musical experience for the children as he spun Christmas tunes on the decks for all the enjoy. Both children, teachers and even Santa himself danced and sang along to the fabulous tunes that Tim prepared and selected so excellently for us on the day. All the children were treated to a chocolate bar and a juice. When it was time to wave goodbye to Santa and his reindeers all the children were presented with a Christmas tree reindeer decoration made by the St Tiernan's woodwork students. A magical morning was had by all!
