Ms Quinn's Second Class took a trip to Dundrum Library on Tuesday morning. We walked down and were met by the librarian, Rachel from Business in the Community and our Teneo reading buddies. We went to the Children’s section of the library upstairs. The librarian talked to us about the library and answered lots of questions. We then listened to an extract of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ before choosing books to read. We hope that everyone in Second Class will join Dundrum Library. We learned that it is free to join and now there are no fines if you lose a book. Everyone received a booklet with worksheets to take back to school. A great way to keep active too! Well done Second Class!
