On Thursday, our 5th and 6th Class pupils travelled by bus to Kilbogget Park to take part in the annual One Mile Run event. Accompanied by their teachers and SNAs, the children represented the school brilliantly and showed excellent behaviour and teamwork throughout the day.
Before the big run, the pupils warmed up with some fun jumping jacks and dancing, getting everyone energised and ready to go. They also enjoyed a range of sporting activities, including javelin throwing, sprints, and a relay race, which gave everyone a chance to show off their athletic skills and have great fun together.
The highlight of the day was the One Mile Run, where all the local schools competed. A huge congratulations goes to Theo Farrelly from 6th Class, who was the overall winner of the One Mile Run across all participating schools — an amazing achievement!
The children had a fantastic day filled with sport, laughter, and friendship. Well done to everyone who took part and represented our school with such pride and enthusiasm!
