The boys and girls in Ms McTeague's 4th class really enjoyed their chemistry class in the science lab in St Tiernan's College this morning. Mr Curran gave a great class today explaining the many qualities of our common, everyday elements. They got to see what happens many of the elements, such as potassium, copper, magnesium and strontium when the come in contact with fire! This is why we see so many colours at a fireworks display.
