Congratulations to the boys and girls from Ms Martins's 6th class on presenting a wonderful assembly to their parents and the rest of the school. The children talked about many topics which they learned throughout the term. They made wonderful projects on World War 1. They studied the life of the artist Pablo Picasso and they showed us some beautiful art they painted based on his work. They also made some Love Hearts based on the artist, Kandinsky. As this was Friendship and Wellness week the children made some cool "A Good Friend" jars in art. They also talked about taking part in their Compliment Capsules during circle time. They recited a poem about Friendship and sang the song "You've got a friend in me" from Toy Story. The parents joined the class for a lovely breakfast afterwards in the senior block prepared by Ms Downes. Well done, Ms Martin's Class on your final breakfast assembly! You were brilliant!
