Congratulations to the boys and girls from Ms Fallon's senior infant class on presenting a wonderful assembly to their parents and the rest of the school. The children talked about many topics which they learned throughout the term. They loved learning all about Spring and showed us their beautiful painted daffodils. They also talked about one of Ireland's beloved spring trees, the cherry blossom and we all loved their popcorn- decorated trees. The children then sang the song, "The Queen of Spring". Senior Infants have been learning about many of our spring festivals such as St Brigid, St Patrick, Eid and Easter. They also praised their beautiful mothers and showed off their amazing Mother's Day art to us all. Next they recited a beautiful poem about mothers which was written by Ms Fallon! They acted out the Irish poem, " An tusa mo mhamaí?" The parents joined the class for a lovely breakfast afterwards in the senior block prepared by Ms Downes. Well done, Ms Fallon's Class on your fabulous breakfast assembly! You were brilliant!
