On Thursday the 3rd October we invited the parents of the Junior Infant class into our school for a special classroom visit and coffee morning. The parents from Ms McAdam’s class were given the opportunity to watch their child perform songs, poems and daily routines with the guidance of their wonderful teacher. Ms McAdam also gave a power point explaining what life is like in the junior infant class. She is hoping the parents continue the work she is doing at home with their child. Norma, Ms McTeague and Danielle are in the class to support the junior infants every morning. Wendy joins the class after small break. All the children received a few free books which were kindly donated by our local library in Dundrum.
Afterwards the parents enjoyed a hot beverage and snack all laid out and prepared so carefully by our wonderful HSCL teacher, Ms Downes. Well done to all the parents and children for making this morning so enjoyable.
