Our first Irish class for parents took place today in our school library. Our tutor is Lucy Smyth and the course will take place over the next 6 weeks on Thursdays from 12:00-1:25pm. Over the 6 weeks Lucy will cover the following topics with the group:
- Greetings, talking about yourself, asking questions
- General conversation, hobbies, activities
- Directions
- Shopping
- The tenses and helping my child with their Irish homework
- Games: Guess Who, Bingo as Gaeilge etc.
This course is for learners with no or very little Irish.
