Recently the pupils and staff of Queen of Angels celebrated Intercultural Day. It was a truly magical day which celebrated the cultures and traditions of over 40 nationalities.
Intercultural Day afforded us the opportunity to explore in greater detail the geography of the countries represented in our school. For the past 4 weeks all the classes had been preparing projects on some of these exotic lands: Thailand, Italy, Kenya, Georgia,China, Spain, South Africa, Ireland, India, Australia to name but a few! All the projects and art displays were displayed in the hall for all to admire.
On the morning of Intercultural Day the entire school community gathered in the junior yard for our traditional parade. It was an amazing sight to witness! Take a look at all our country banners.
