Mr. Connaire's 5th class have been busy learning all about volcanoes and how they work. Today, they brought their lessons to life by creating their very own erupting volcanoes! Using the base of a plastic bottle, they built up the sides with clay, painted them brown, and added greenery like moss to make them look realistic. Then came the exciting part — they poured in baking soda, vinegar, washing-up liquid, and red food dye. The result? A bubbly, red eruption that wowed the whole class! There are some very enthusiastic scientists in 5th class!
