As an avid Badminton club player, myself and Timmy Clogher (Club Coach) were delighted to run Badminton workshops during Active Week at Queen of Angels. Timmy introduced the children to basic badminton skills during the sessions and the children showed great enthusiasm and commitment to the game with some showing their competitive side! We spotted alot of potential and talent within the groups we had and some of the children have expressed an interest to build on this introductory session. Most importantly the children had alot of fun! We would like to thank Timmy for his time and energy and for making this experience possible. He acknowledged what a "lovely bunch of kids" we have in our school community. Well done to everyone who took part.
