Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are thrilled to announce that Santa will be visiting ALL the boys and girls next Tuesday, 8th December. Normally this event takes place in St Tiernan’s Community School for the junior classes only. However this year we will be hosting this amazing visitor in our own school. We feel it is only right that every pupil in the school gets to celebrate Santa’s arrival after having experienced a very tough year. He will be arriving in our school at 11am. Firstly, the junior classes will gather outside in the junior yard for some very exciting Covid-friendly, festive cheer! Once the junior classes have seen Santa, the senior classes will then get the opportunity to see him. The pupils from 6th class have the very responsible job of coordinating the event. The children will be posting their letters to Santa in our very own North Pole letterbox over the next few days for Santa to take with him when he leaves.
The children can wear their Santa hats or reindeer antlers if they wish!
Please make sure they have a warm coat, scarf and gloves on the day.
A big thank you to Peter Lennon and the staff of St Tiernan's for keeping the Christmas spirit alive every year.
Looking forward to a great morning of Christmas fun.
