The 17th of May saw Ms. Dunne’s, Ms. Maher’s and Ms. Mc Carthy’s
6th class students receive their fourth sacrament, the Sacrament of
Confirmation. Fr. Jim Caffery confirmed the students in a beautiful
ceremony in the Church of Ascension, Ballaly. Ms. Archer led
students from 3rd to 6th class in the choir, who sang beautifully on
the day. All the confirmation candidates had been busy preparing for
months and all played an integral role in the ceremony. It was lovely
to see such respect and joy being shared amongst the children and
parents.
