On Friday the 20th June, the children from the two sixth classes graduated from primary school. To celebrate their graduation there was a ceremony in the school hall. The children were supported by all of their families and the school staff. During the ceremony we reflected on their time at Queen of Angels through songs, poems and prayers. Each child was then presented with a ‘Most likely to’ certificate as voted for by their classmates.
When graduating, Ms. Donegan then presented each child with a graduation certificate, a graduation medal and a small gift. It was a really special day, enjoyed by all. After the ceremony there were beautiful cakes, sandwiches and tea and coffee for all. A big míle buíochas to Ms Downes who organised and served up the lovely coffee morning.
The hall was looking spectacular thanks to the efforts and artistic talent of our Parents association led by Eva, her children, Sky and Charlie and Helena(Daniel's mum) and Lily's grandmother.
They are an amazing group of boys and girls and wonderful ambassadors for our school. We wish them the best of luck in secondary school and we cannot wait to hear how they get on!
