Ms Pigott's 4th class loved their first science lesson in St Tiernan's school. They undertook a physics experiment in the lab under the guidance of Mr Curry. The children made predictions before examining the effect of heat on a squash ball. They concluded out that the hotter the ball got, the higher it bounced! The students loved wearing their lab coats and protective goggles as well as using the science equipment such as the bunsen burner, thermometer, tongs and tripod. A big thank you to St Tiernan's College and Mr Curry for facilitating an enjoyable and engaging lesson. Thank you also to our SCP Coordinator Mr Peter Lennon for welcoming the children and providing them with snacks. We all had a great day out!
